Supporting The Bridge Solingen/Germany

Quite some years ago we decided to understand Christmas in its very original tradition, in the grace of charity and helping others. Since then our clients and commercial partners simply receive a christmas card noting amongst others the social project we decided to support this year.
For Christmas 2012 we settled for an aid organization based in Solingen: The Bridge.

The Bridge supports very different projects in Guinea/Africa. They build schools, hospital wards and work shops for disabled people. They fincance health and prevention campains, just like alphabetization programs. They also support ecological and agricultural projects.
All of these projects give great support to the people of Guinea. We are very happy to make a contribution to this aid work.

How to get a special look for food

How to get a special look for food

Present vitamines & Co impressively

Of course you can just put fruit and vegetable onto the table just as it is grown. But you can also serve food with a "Wow! You made that yourself?"-effect. And, let us be honest, we all love that kind of awareness. Fresh ingredients, a few high-quality kitchen utensils, and a bit of patience all mixed together with a pinch of fantasy, that is all you need. Apart from some ideas to open up your own creativity. This is why we recommend the book of Georg Hartung: Garnish & Decorating made easy.  Here you see how vitamines, calcium & Co can be easily and appetizingly set into scene. Apple or strawberry fans, radish mice, grapes formed from cucumber, turnip flowers, melon stars or tomato roses - you make your choice and follow the detailed step-by-step instructions (words + photos). What a great way to serve good food and impress your family members and guests with your culinary ideas along the way

The enticing cuisine of herbs and spices

Cooking naturally with Maiga Werner

She came to our attention while we were developing our new triangle® herb cutter: Maiga Werner. She tends and cares for over 150 different types of herbs and spices in her countryside herb garden in Hunsrück. From here she supplies the gastronomy, plans and sets out individual gardens, runs a Bed & Breakfast with an herb and spice café and now has her knowledge published in a book. And this is what we wish to recommend to you. “Die Verführküche der Kräuter” offers you not only a comprehensive insight into the world of edible herbs but also has over 100 recipes. All are depicted by beautiful photographs which whets one`s appetite for herbs so much that you feel like going straight to the market or directly to Maiga Werner. The book is immediately available in shops and costs 24,95 Euro.
We wish you in advance: “An enjoyable meal”!
