The Pursuit of not being unhappy: Carving course for David Kross

German Cinema Film Production with triangle-tools

To give a very special carving course our cooperation partner Alex Neumayer from www.kochenundkunst.at travelled to Berlin the last weekend of June. There he met the young German actor David Kross in order to teach him the art of fruit and vegetable carving and to prepare him for his latest role.
In the German cinema film production “Anleitung zum Unglücklichsein”,(“The Pursuit of Unhappiness”) which is presently being filmed at the Babelsberg film studios, David Kross plays a very introverted young man, who passes his time by carving small pieces of art from fruit and vegetables in the delicatessen shop of his aunt. “The majority of these carvings, seen in the film, has been supplied by us. And this really fills us with pride.”, the world carving master declares.
Despite of his youth David Kross played in some very successful films such as “Der Vorleser”/”The Reader”, Hände weg von Mississippi”/”Hands off Missippi” or “Krabat”. The film “Anleitung zum Unglücklichsein” will be launched in Germany in spring 2012 and is very promisingly casted with Iris Berben, Richie Müller and Johanna Wokalek („Die Päpstin”/“Pope Joan“, „Der Baader-Meinhoff-Komplex“/”The Bader-Meinhoff-Complex”).
